Role Overview

We are looking for a VP of Finance to lead Rukita’s core finance functions, including Finance Operations, Accounting, and Tax. This role will play a critical part in ensuring strong financial governance, building scalable finance infrastructure, and supporting strategic decision-making as the company grows.

This position is ideal for candidates who started their careers in accounting firms and have since gained hands-on experience in high-growth startups or technology-enabled companies, combining strong technical fundamentals with operational agility. You will work closely with the executive leadership team, providing financial leadership while ensuring day-to-day finance operations run efficiently and compliantly.

Job Scope

Financial Leadership & Business Partnership

• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and finance policies across the organization.
• Oversee end-to-end finance operations
• Ensure financial processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with a fast-growing organization.

Accounting & Reporting

• Lead the accounting function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Manage monthly and annual closing processes and oversee the preparation of management and investor reports.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors.

Tax & Compliance

• Oversee corporate tax compliance and reporting, including PPh Badan, VAT, and withholding taxes, etc.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Partner with external advisors to manage tax planning and regulatory developments.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the finance team across accounting, finance operations, and tax.
• Build scalable structures, processes, and performance standards within the finance function.
• Foster strong collaboration between finance and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA/CA or equivalent professional certification preferred).
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Early career experience in Big4 accounting firms (Audit/Assurance/Transaction Advisory) strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in startup, technology, or high-growth environments is highly valued.
• Strong technical knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale finance processes and teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and leadership capability.
