Hempel Group melalui program rekrutmennya saat ini sedang membuka lowongan kerja untuk posisi Coating Advisor di Batam yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional di dalam maupun luar kantor Hempel Group. Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice and support on Hempel’s product and services to Hempel’s customers while complying to the technical parameters/ specification, practices and procedures
• Working with Hempel’s sales and delivering the agreed level of services to the customers in accordance to the agreement while demonstrating strong customers orientation while customers can recognize the value Hempel’s services
• Delivering the service and product performance through observation, monitoring (of site work), highlighting (to customers, TS managers and sales) and recording (on corporate reporting) on any deviation to the specification execution.
• Exercise sound technical discretion by understanding paint characteristic (including recoating intervals, minimum dry-film-thickness etc), end user needs and, when necessary, get clients’ participation if there is a deviation
• Initiate and engage discussions to secure external stakeholders agreement if the projects are not run in accordance to the requirement
• Ensure conforming to Hempel’s reporting guidelines

Key tasks:

• Managing the project assigned in accordance with the service level and following on the paint specification and procedures. TS activities with clients on site (75%)
• Conforming to departmental and corporate guidelines (15%)
• Self-Learning and development (10%)

Required education, experience and job-related skills:

• Minimum ITE or GCE ‘O’ with a pass in English.
• Previous experience in delivering service for coatings either or experience in yard’s shipwright, paint maker’s technical adviser or applicator
• Strong customers focus and orientation.
• Able to travel within short notices and without passport restriction.
• Good English competence (written and spoken) with good reporting skills
