About the role

Blessing Tours Indonesia, a leading travel company, is seeking a skilled Accounting professional to join our team in Pekanbaru Riau. This full-time position is responsible for handling all financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Accounting Staff

Educational Background

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance
• Strong understanding of service-based accounting, preferably in the travel or tourism industry

Accounting Competencies

• Able to prepare financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow) on a regular basis
• Understand recording of travel-related transactions: flight tickets, tour packages, hotels, transportation, agent commissions, and refunds
• Familiar with accrual-based accounting systems

Taxation Knowledge (Current System)

• Proficient in calculating and reporting:
• Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Income Tax Article 21, Article 23, and Corporate Income Tax
• Familiar with Indonesia’s current digital tax systems such as Coretax, e-Faktur, e-Bupot, e-Filing, and e-SPT
• Up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and able to implement them in daily operations
• Capable of tax reconciliation and preparing documents for tax audits

Systems & Tools

• Experienced in using accounting software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (transaction recap, basic to intermediate formulas)
• Comfortable handling digital and cashless financial transactions

Work Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in handling company tax matters independently is an advantage

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and responsible with financial data
• High integrity and honesty
• Able to work under deadlines (monthly reports and tax submissions)
• Good communication skills and able to coordinate with management
