Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and customer focused Sales Executive to support the growth of our ferry passenger services between Batam and Singapore. The Sales Executive will focus on acquiring new individual and corporate customers, maintaining strong relationships with agents and partners, and promoting our services in line with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively source and acquire new customers, both individual and corporate, including travel agents, tour operators, and group organizers.
Map out and canvass potential sales areas, including key business districts, malls, hotels, and tourism hubs in Batam and surrounding regions.
Maintain and develop good working relationships with existing partners and agents to maximize bookings and revenue.
Promote ferry services and schedules effectively through direct visits, online channels, calls, and marketing events.
Collaborate with the reservations, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide insights and suggest improvements.
Prepare regular sales reports, customer feedback summaries, and performance updates to the Sales Manager.
Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, and corporate meetings to increase brand visibility and market share.
Ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are followed up promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field.
At least 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or transportation sectors.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Target driven with good negotiation and closing skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the Batam - Singapore travel market is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Willing to travel for sales visits and promotional activities.
