About the role

As a Marine Logistics Sales specialist at PT. Transport Delapan Berdaya', you will play a vital role in driving the company's growth within the freight and cargo forwarding industry. This full-time position, based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, will see you working closely with clients to provide tailored marine logistics solutions that meet their unique needs.

What you'll be doing

• Actively prospecting and securing new clients in the marine logistics and freight forwarding market

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business

• Understanding client requirements and proposing bespoke marine logistics solutions

• Negotiating contract terms and closing sales to meet revenue targets

• Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services

• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

• Contributing to the development of the company's marine logistics sales strategy

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales role within the freight forwarding or marine logistics industry

• Proven track record of prospecting, winning and retaining clients

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand and meet client needs

• Strong commercial acumen and an analytical mindset to identify opportunities and provide solutions

• Knowledge of marine logistics processes, regulations and best practices

• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both verbal and written

• A team player with a customer-centric approach

• Strong relation to LCT, SPOB, AHTS, Barge, Bulk carrier, Trucks vendors in Kalimantan and Jakarta Area.

• Has Loyal Customers on hand

• 35 years old maximum, male or female

• Commitment to pray jama'ah at nearest masjid

• Willing to build company's standard together for QHSE and ISO fulfillment

• Willing to grow together with the company's vision
