Company Description:

Our client is a large‑scale manufacturing operation with advanced production facilities supporting international markets. The site operates with a sizeable workforce and integrated functions across production, engineering, quality, logistics, and support teams. The organisation is focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and long‑term capability building within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Take full accountability for end‑to‑end factory operations with a workforce of 3,000+ employees
• Lead and integrate all core functions including production, engineering, quality, logistics, HR, and administration
• Plan, organise, and control daily manufacturing activities to achieve output, cost, and quality targets
• Optimise production workflows, capacity planning, and resource allocation to maximise efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality performance, and cost competitiveness
• Champion lean manufacturing, automation, and operational excellence practices across the plant
• Build, mentor, and lead a strong management and supervisory team to foster a high‑performance culture
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, internal policies, and industry standards
• Partner closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve execution
• Analyse production and operational data, prepare management reports, and present insights to senior leadership
• Support workforce planning, succession, training, and capability development initiatives
• Act decisively on operational risks, quality issues, and performance gaps with corrective actions

Requirements:

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
• Location: This position will be based in overseas factory.
• 20+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally within electrical household appliances or similar process‑driven industries
• Minimum 10 years in senior management roles within large‑scale factories (1,000+ workers)
• Deep, hands‑on knowledge across all aspects of factory operations and process manufacturing
• Proven experience driving lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives
• Strong leadership presence with high accountability, resilience, and attention to detail
• Highly quality‑driven mindset with strong operational discipline
• Effective communicator with the ability to lead large, diverse teams
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for Senior Manager level
