As a Facilities Engineer at PT Indonesia Defence Services, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the company’s facilities and property assets to ensure they remain safe, functional, compliant, and operationally efficient. This role focuses on the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and other physical assets owned or operated by the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all company facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and property assets to ensure optimal functionality and operational readiness.
• Conduct routine inspections of company facilities and identify maintenance, repair, or improvement requirements.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings and civil infrastructure assets.
• Monitor the condition, utilization, and lifecycle of company property assets and recommend repair, renovation, or replacement plans as necessary.
• Oversee maintenance activities related to buildings, roads, drainage systems, parking areas, fences, warehouses, and other civil infrastructure.
• Coordinate repair, renovation, and construction works with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure all maintenance and construction activities are performed according to technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical scopes of work, cost estimates, and maintenance schedules for facility-related projects.
• Ensure company facilities comply with applicable building regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across company facilities.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining permits, certifications, and inspections related to buildings and infrastructure assets.
• Prepare facility condition assessments, maintenance reports, and asset performance evaluations.
• Develop annual maintenance plans and budgets for company facilities and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and asset documentation.
• Recommend facility improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and asset longevity.
• Perform other duties assigned by management related to facilities engineering, asset management, and infrastructure maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, infrastructure maintenance, building maintenance, or construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of building structures and civil infrastructure.
• Building maintenance and repair practices.
• Construction methods and materials.
• Infrastructure maintenance planning.
• Building regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in managing building maintenance projects, renovation and repair works, contractors and service providers, and facility inspections and condition assessments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering software is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneously.

Note: This position is strictly intended for candidates with an academic background in Civil Engineering (S1 Teknik Sipil). Candidates from other engineering disciplines will not be considered.
