We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong background in cybersecurity, with the ability to identify and mitigate data security risks, design documentation according to IT frameworks, and manage projects effectively. This role is essential for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cybersecurity Risk Identification: Proactively identify and assess cybersecurity threats, data security risks, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.

• Documentation and IT Frameworks: Design and maintain cybersecurity documentation using relevant IT frameworks, such as DMBOK, etc., and ensuring that all processes and protocols are well-documented and aligned with industry standards.

• ISO 27001 Compliance: Ensure that the organization's cybersecurity practices align with ISO 27001 standards, contributing to the development and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

• Project Management: Apply project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor cybersecurity projects, utilizing relevant tools and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security protocols, responding promptly to security incidents and providing expert guidance on cybersecurity matters.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cyber Security Officer, IT Governance, or in a similar role.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in network security, endpoint security, and cryptography.

  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.

  • Knowledge of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and incident response.

  • Familiarity with security architecture design and cloud security best practices.

  • Experienced in implementing ISO 27001 is a must.

• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project management, with a solid understanding of project management theories, implementation strategies, and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and cybersecurity compliance requirements.

• Soft Skills:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
