Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and oversee the strategic and operational management of our hotel chain and commercial retail real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership across hospitality, hotel and property sectors, with strong business acumen, operational excellence, and a visionary mindset to drive sustainable growth across both verticals.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute long-term business strategies for both the hotel and commercial retail operations aligned with corporate goals.
Provide visionary leadership to position the company as a leading player in the hospitality and commercial real estate markets.
Drive innovation and operational efficiency across all business units.
Lead day-to-day operations of hotels and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance, guest satisfaction, and tenant retention.
Oversee property management functions including facility management, leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Ensure service standards, profitability, and sustainability goals are consistently met across the portfolio.
Manage overall budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor P&L, revenue performance, occupancy rates, and ROI across both hotel and retail portfolios.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance revenue streams and cost efficiencies.
Report to the Board of Directors and maintain transparent communication on company performance and direction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, hotel operators, retail tenants, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities including new hotel developments, retail space acquisition, or redevelopment.
Lead strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other collaborations that add long-term value.
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the hotel, property, and real estate industries, with a strong track record of managing both hotel chains and commercial real estate portfolios.
Proven experience in property management, including retail centers, office towers, or mixed-use developments.
Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, hotel brand standards, service delivery, and guest experience management.
Solid financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and P&L management.
Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, organizational transformation, and multi-unit management.
Exceptional leadership, people management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.
High integrity, resilience, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.
