Role Overview :We are looking for a skilled and strategic Website Developer & SEO Manager to oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of our websites with a strong focus on performance, usability, and organic growth. You will be responsible for creating fast, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly websites while also leading the SEO strategy to improve rankings, drive traffic, and support our overall digital marketing goals. This role is ideal for a developer who also brings a data-driven mindset and understands how technical and content SEO work together for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities :Website Development :Build and maintain responsive, high-performance websites using WordPress or relevant CMS platforms. Implement clean, scalable, and secure code following best practices. Manage hosting, domains, and technical troubleshooting.
Ensure optimal site speed, mobile performance, and cross-browser compatibility. Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement web features and landing pages. SEO Management :Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Conduct regular SEO audits and implement improvements across technical, structural, and content areas. Optimize website architecture, meta tags, internal linking, and structured data. Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content and ranking opportunities.
Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Analytics. Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation. Track and report on SEO KPIs and recommend data-backed strategies for continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience & Skills :5+ years in website development and SEO.Proficient in WordPress, Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools. Experience with page speed optimization (e.g. Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, CDN setup). Familiarity with schema markup and technical SEO.Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Bonus: Experience with Tilda, Webflow, or custom CMS; understanding of CRO principles, Doku payment platform. What You'll Love
