Job Summary
HR Business Partners perform a specialized type of HR work focused on HR consulting to the business including:
- HR consulting and coaching (e.g., working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues, provides expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc.)
- Enabling business change (e.g., supporting the talent aspects of organization structure changes, talent integration related to mergers and acquisitions, etc.)
- HR program advocacy (e.g., communicating the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption, etc.)
- Partnering with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.)
Job Description
Strategic Planning
- Setting up specific HR management and strategy for the digital business with a new business orientation.
- Review HR operational plans, values, overall policies and guidelines of digital business
- Advised the execution of strategy and operations to support the business functions establish position in the market
- Establish functional KPI based on organizational scorecard and cascaded down to the team
- Oversee Subsidiary’s functional budget and organizational manpower planning and achieving subsidiary revenue target.
HR Business Partners
- Directly supports units to escalate issues or business priorities that have impacts beyond any single particular business units
- Manages team effectively, to contribute the development and implementation of HR strategies, initiatives and frameworks. Provide appropriate advices and supports to business units on a portfolio basis
- Generally assists and supports team with relevant projects as required. In respect of these, ensures the appropriate involvement of the Business Partner teams as the relationship owners for their portfolio area
- Effectively implements direction, advice, coaching and development to support and enable business partner team effectively manage their portfolio business relationships
Team Management
- As a strategic partner with business heads of subsidiary to identify talents (high potentials) in the functions and identify talent gaps
- Design and improve performance management system, career development framework and succession plan for Group, SBU executives and High Potentials.
- Identify organizational competencies required at critical position level while also supporting the accomplishment of diversity goals.
Compensation Strategy
- Oversee the design and improvement of Subsidiary’s current rewards framework and structure to stay competitive
- Ensure that remuneration package competitive with own market and align with Group (Indosat)
- Fosters the establishment of a high performance, client-focused culture through the articulation and implementation of HR policies
Team Development
- Lead, develop and mentor team members to achieve functional objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staffs, make recommendations or approve and implement actions, such as promotions and dismissals
- Mentor team members as the industry expert and serve as the final point of functional escalation
- Create the succession plan for the team and attract, motivate and retain top talent to ensure alignment with the plan
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource, Psychology, or Business Administration
Related Experience
More than 8 years or more of management experience in telecommunication or adjacent industry with preferably multinational companies with managerial positions and more than 3 years in same position – HR Business Partnering area
