About the role

Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser to join our team in Jakarta Pusat. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining visually appealing product displays that drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and execute creative visual merchandising plans for in-store product displays and fixtures
• Ensure product placement, signage, and overall store aesthetics are consistent with Midea's branding and marketing strategies
• Monitor and maintain product displays, replenishing stock and making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align visual merchandising with promotional campaigns
• Train and provide guidance to retail staff on best practices for product presentation and display maintenance
• Analyse store performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in visual merchandising
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative merchandising solutions

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar retail/customer-facing role
• Strong understanding of retail design principles, product presentation, and consumer buying behaviour
• Excellent creative and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
• Proficient in using visual merchandising tools and software (e.g. CAD, Photoshop)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Keen eye for detail and a proactive, results-driven approach
• Familiarity with the consumer electronics industry and Midea's product line would be an advantage
