Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tooling Engineer to join our client's team in Batam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new tooling and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new tooling and fixtures, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage all tooling operations, including maintenance, repair, procurement, and deployment of both new and existing tools.
• Lead a team of tooling engineers and toolmakers, collaborating closely with engineering, production, and quality departments to determine tooling needs, enhance performance, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with management, production teams, engineering, and suppliers to fulfill tooling requirements while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Tool and Die, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with over 6 years of experience in tool making and mold design.
• Strong leadership abilities, project management skills, and a cooperative team approach.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tool design and analysis, particularly within the injection molding industry.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, adaptability, excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, effective communication, active listening, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficient in English and willing to be placed in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia.
