Responsibilities and Duties
1. Warehouse & Logistics Operations
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) principles are strictly followed for all FMCG products.
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records through the warehouse management system (WMS) or manual controls.
Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to prevent inventory discrepancies.
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with delivery schedules.
Supervise the logistics section, ensuring smooth coordination of product delivery to customers, timely dispatch, and efficient use of transport resources.
Monitor logistics costs, routes, and transporter performance to optimize efficiency.
2. Team Supervision & Development
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics staff to achieve operational efficiency and meet daily KPIs.
Create and manage work schedules, delegating tasks according to workload and team capabilities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
3. Safety, Compliance, and Quality Control
Ensure all warehouse and logistics activities comply with company SOPs, HACCP, GMP, and relevant industry regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
Monitor handling of goods to prevent damage and maintain product quality, especially for temperature-sensitive FMCG items.
Enforce health and safety policies, including the use of PPE and safe lifting/handling procedures.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and logistics reports, including inventory status, stock movement, and discrepancies.
Maintain proper documentation for all inbound and outbound transactions, including supplier and transporter records.
Coordinate with the finance team for reconciliation of stock with accounting records.
5. Coordination & Communication
Liaise with the procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and information.
Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch and delivery.
Handle warehouse and logistics-related inquiries from internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years' experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in FMCG.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and other FMCG handling standards.
