We're Hiring a Chief Security!

The Chief Security is responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously improving the security management system at our Banggai Ammonia Plant. This role ensures robust protection of company assets, personnel, and infrastructure by developing proactive security strategies, leading an experienced security team, and building strong collaboration with law enforcement and other external stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, crisis response capabilities, and deep knowledge of security governance.

Work Location: Site Banggai Ammonia Plant, Kabupaten Banggai

Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the External Relations & Security Manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Law, Social Studies, or related field
• Possess Gada Utama certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in security leadership roles, preferably in Oil & Gas, Mining, or Palm Oil industries
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Security Governance & Risk Management
  • Incident Response & Disaster Recovery
  • Project & Budget Management
• Demonstrated ability in:
  • Leading and managing large security teams
  • Intelligence duties and risk anticipation
  • Investigating and resolving security breaches
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, including law enforcement
• Good interpersonal skills and active English communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Security Management System aligned with company policies and national regulations.
• Design and execute robust security strategies to mitigate risks and anticipate threats across all operational zones and perimeters.
• Enhance systems and procedures to safeguard the company's assets, employees, and facilities effectively.
• Lead the entire security workforce, including recruitment, training, deployment, and performance management.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and security vendors to strengthen security operations and response readiness.
• Ensure efficient budget and project management in all security-related initiatives.
• Promote a security culture aligned with Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) and the Environmental Management System (SML).
