Sales Assistant Manager (Wiring Harness)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage key accounts, focusing on clients requiring wiring harness solutions.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries (automotive, electronics, industrial machinery, etc.) for wiring harness products.

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.

• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.

• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure product viability, timely delivery, and quality assurance for wiring harnesses.

• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the management.

• Understand and effectively communicate technical aspects of wiring harnesses to clients.

• Communicate effectively with Japanese counterparts and clients, understanding their requirements and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically in the wiring harness manufacturing industry.

• Mandatory in-depth knowledge of wiring harness products, manufacturing processes, and common applications in various industries (automotive, industrial, consumer electronics, etc.).

• Strong business development and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential for communication.

• Familiarity with Japanese business culture and communication styles is highly advantageous.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong customer focus.

• Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
