About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales professional to join our team at our company. In this full-time role based in Palembang, South Sumatra, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in our retail environment.
What you'll be doing
Engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide product recommendations
Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
Maintaining excellent product knowledge to guide customers through the purchasing process
Ensuring a positive in-store customer experience and assisting with any queries or concerns
Collaborating with the wider retail team to implement sales strategies and campaigns
Accurately processing sales transactions
Assisting with stock management and merchandising tasks to keep the store presentable
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the retail industry
Experience in sanitary, plumbing and building materials is preferred
Experience in handling distributors and agents especially in the Palemabang area
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and reporting
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required to support our operating hours
A positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude
