Role Overview

The Regional Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end logistics operations across multiple countries within Southeast Asia, supporting importation, customs clearance, distribution coordination and regulatory compliance activities across Andaman Medical’s regional entities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring strong coordination with internal regulatory teams, clients, distributors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government authorities to ensure timely and compliant execution of logistics activities.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated-product logistics environments, with strong knowledge of ASEAN importation processes, GDP/GDSP requirements, and regional customs coordination.

 Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Manage & oversee regional logistics operations across Andaman Medical entities, ensuring smooth coordination of imports, exports, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Monitor and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance, including shipment planning, inventory replenishment, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments to meet customer and business requirements.
• Coordinate closely with country operations teams to ensure alignment and execution efficiency.

Regulatory & Compliance Support 

• Ensure logistics operations comply with local regulatory requirements, customs regulations, and medical device handling standards.
• Support regulatory and QA teams in maintaining compliance with GDP/GDSP standards and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate import permit applications, customs documentation, product classification support, and shipment-related regulatory requirements.
• Manage proper documentation and records for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee regional warehouse coordination activities including inventory movement, storage conditions, and distribution planning.
• Supports warehouse inspections, audits, and qualification activities.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with applicable healthcare and medical device storage standards.

Freight, Import/Export & Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, courier services, customs brokers, transport providers, warehouse operators to ensure cost-effective and reliable service delivery.
• Evaluate logistics vendors based on service quality, cost efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.
• Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and operational terms with logistics service provider.
• Monitor vendor KPIs and ensure service level compliance.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Support country teams in resolving logistics-related escalations and customer concerns.
• Act as the key point of coordination for regional logistics matters.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for regional clients and distributors regarding agreement review, execution, and resolution of related issues or conflicts.
• Provide logistics guidance and operational support to client manufacturers and commercial teams.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to optimize regional logistics performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Develop and standardize logistics SOPs and best practices across regional operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements for medical devices and healthcare products.

Reporting & KPI Management

• Monitor and prepare logistics reports, operational updates, and KPI presentations for management and clients.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or operations management, preferably within medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries.
• Strong regional exposure and experience managing cross-country logistics operations is highly preferred.
• Experience in import/export processes, customs documentation, freight coordination, and inventory management.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regional environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and logistics/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally when required.
