What You Will Contribute:
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in delivering exceptional service throughout their stay. This position is primarily assigned to evening and night operations, requiring a professional, responsible, and service-oriented individual who can ensure smooth front office operations during night hours.
What You Will Do:
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently
- Manage room reservations, bookings, cancellations, and modifications
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and excellent guest satisfaction
- Operate the VHP Hotel System and maintain accurate guest records
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily cashiering procedures in accordance with Company policies
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
- Provide information regarding hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions
- Prepare daily reports, guest correspondence, and administrative documentation as required
- Monitor lobby activities and maintain a professional front office environment
- Perform night shift duties, including night audit support, guest assistance, and overnight operational reporting when assigned
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Good candidate (This position requires working night shifts)
- Minimum Diploma (D1) in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, or Front Office staff in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply
- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Well-groomed, professional appearance, and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using VHP Hotel System or other Property Management Systems (PMS) for reservations, guest registration, billing, and front office operations is preferred
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures, guest account management, and night audit processes is an advantage
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit and able to support operational requirements during overnight shifts
