Job Summary

The PVC Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the PVC manufacturing process, ensuring that production targets are achieved with consistent product quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves supervising a team of operators, coordinating with maintenance, quality control, and planning departments, and ensuring optimal performance of key equipment such as extruders, mixing units, and boilers. The supervisor is also expected to identify and resolve technical issues on the production floor and provide regular reports to management for performance tracking and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

2. Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in PVC manufacturing or plastic extrusion industry.

3. Strong technical understanding of PVC formulation and processing, including knowledge of raw materials (resins, plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers) and compounding procedures.

4. Hands-on experience with extrusion machines (twin/single screw), boilers, and other supporting production equipment.

5. Familiar with ISO 9001, GMP, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) compliance in a manufacturing environment.

6. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage shift teams, production schedules, and operational KPIs.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable of using production or ERP systems.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to respond to real-time production issues.

9. Willing to work in a shift-based schedule and flexible with working hours according to plant requirements.

10. Willing to be placed in Kendal, Central Java.
