About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Purchasing Staff to join our team at Passion Abadi Korpora in Tangerang, Banten on a contract basis. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and other supplies essential to our manufacturing operations. Your strategic contributions will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our supply chain.
What you'll be doing
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing requirements and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers
Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels
Tracking and following up on orders to ensure timely delivery
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and generating reports
Researching new suppliers and products to identify cost-saving opportunities
Resolving any issues or discrepancies with deliveries or invoices
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation or logistics industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers
Excellent organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
Thorough understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
