About the role
Join PT SUNRISE MASAMI INTERNASIONAL', a leading manufacturing company in Banyuwangi, East Java, as our new Purchasing Manager. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's purchasing operations, ensuring efficient procurement of materials and services to support our manufacturing processes.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimise costs, quality, and delivery times
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best terms for the company
Monitor and analyse purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business's procurement needs and priorities
Oversee the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchasing function
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Fluent in Mandarin (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is a must
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Proven experience in leading and developing a team of purchasing professionals
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
