The Opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a Piping Engineer (Piping Stress) to join our Industrial team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term role with the opportunity to be extended.

In This Role, You Will

• Apply your experience in piping design and understanding of piping materials
• Perform pipe stress analysis and provide mechanical system design solutions
• Troubleshoot piping issues and contribute to project delivery across various industrial sectors

About You

• A bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a piping stress engineer in an engineering consultancy
• Experience in piping design and stress analysis
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, DIN
• Strong hands‑on experience with stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE or Caesar II
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to write technical reports and communicate with fluent English‑speaking teams
• A positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset, and willingness to learn new processes and applications
• Experience in FMCG, water, and/or mining & metals industries
• Jakarta‑based with the possibility of site visits
