About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pastry to join our team at PT Mutia Culinary Concepts' in Medan, North Sumatra.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist in the production of a variety of pastries, breads, cakes and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules

• Prepare ingredients, measure and mix doughs, batters and fillings

• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and slicers safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of products

• Contribute to the development of new recipes and product innovations

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least SMK Or Culinary School Diploma

• Previous experience as a Pastry Cook, Baker or similar role in a commercial kitchen environment

• Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety regulations and quality control procedures

• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality pastries and baked goods

• Certification or training in baking, culinary arts or a related field is preferred
