Qualifications for Mechanical Maintenance

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Diploma 3 (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Foreman Mechanical Maintenance in a process industry. Experience with factory startup or commissioning is a significant advantage.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of industrial machinery (pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors).

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD 2D & 3D).

Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ERP, or SAP.

Managerial Skills: Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making under pressure.

Other: Strong commitment to industrial Health & Safety (K3) and electrical safety standards.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, overseeing and managing all mechanical maintenance to support on production machinery, plant facilities, and other production equipment. Your main duties will include:

Planning & executing maintenance activities and conduct thorough evaluations of their execution, controlling and ensuring optimal machine condition and performance (machine performance).

Conduct Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures.

Ensure all work executions comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, guaranteeing worker safety.

Manage the inventory of spare parts, ensuring their availability to minimize production downtime.

Prepare maintenance performance reports regularly.
