About the role

Investland Bali Properties' is seeking an experienced In-House Legal Expert to join our dynamic and growing team in Bali. As a full-time position, this role will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality, and cost-effective legal services to support our property development and investment operations across Bali.

What you'll be doing

• Advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, including property acquisitions, leases and other agreements

• Ensuring compliance with local and national regulations, including property development, foreign investment, and tax laws

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents to support the company's strategic initiatives

• Assisting with responses to tenders and other opportunities for new property developments

• Providing guidance on intellectual property protection, data privacy, and other legal matters

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team

• Significant exposure to a wide range of commercial legal practice areas, including property, investment, and corporate law

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice

• A strong understanding of the local and national legal landscape in Bali and Indonesia

• The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment

• A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a commitment to excellence
