About the role

As the Head of Distribution for Visinema Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic distribution and expansion of Visinema's movies or theatrical release across various platforms. This is a critical role that will contribute to the growth and success of this leading production company. The role is full-time and based in Cilandak, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

1. Managing international distribution for Visinema Group's movie or theatrical releases, including distributor & sales agent selections, negotiation, delivery, reporting and revenue collection.

2. Developing and implementing innovative distribution strategies to maximise the reach and visibility of Visinema's movies or theatrical releases

3. Lead Distribution Team for Local Distribution (Theatrical release project)

4. Managing other local distribution channels (outside of theatrical), including previews & selections, reporting, delivery & revenue collection.

5. Negotiating distribution deals with key partners such as OTT platforms, broadcasters, and content aggregators

6. Analysing market trends and audience data to identify new distribution opportunities, also overseeing and assisting with local theatrical distribution.

7. Collaborating with the production and marketing teams to align distribution plans with overall business objectives

8. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to identify new distribution channels

9. Tracking and reporting on the performance of distribution initiatives

Specific Skills Needed:

• Understanding distribution flow

• Communications (internal & external) -

• Proficient in English

• Negotiations

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience (5+ years) in media distribution, preferably in the entertainment or production house industry

2. Proven track record in developing and executing successful distribution strategies across multiple platforms

3. Strong negotiation and partnership management skills

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and identify growth opportunities

5. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve distribution targets

6. Familiarity with the Indonesian and Southeast Asian media landscape

7. Degree in media, business, or a related field
