Job Summary

The Head of Finance plays a strategic leadership role in driving financial excellence for BYD Indonesia Autosales Division. This position oversees end-to-end finance functions, including Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Transfer Pricing, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and sustainable business performance.

Beyond operational leadership, the role acts as a key business partner to senior management, supporting decision-making through robust financial insights, performance analysis, and forward‑looking planning. Working in close collaboration with BYD HQ Finance and Manufacturing Finance teams, the Head of Finance ensures alignment with global standards while addressing the unique needs of the Indonesian market. This role is critical in supporting BYD’s rapid growth, market expansion, and long‑term strategic objectives in Indonesia.

Job Descriptions

• Lead and manage all finance functions including Accounting, Tax, FP&A, and Transfer Pricing for Autosales Division
• Ensure high standards of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls in line with local regulations and HQ policies
• Oversee tax strategy, compliance, audits, and transfer pricing documentation to support sustainable operations
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
• Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing actionable insights and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with BYD HQ Finance and Manufacturing Finance teams on reporting, costing, and financial alignment
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to support business growth
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing finance team

Job Requirements (Max. 8 Bullet Points)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA/CA/ACCA) preferred
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience with strong exposure to Tax, Accounting, FP&A, and Transfer Pricing
• Experience in multinational and fast‑growing organizations; automotive or manufacturing background is a strong advantage
• Solid knowledge of Indonesia tax regulations and statutory reporting
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory)
• Strong capability to work with regional and global HQ stakeholders
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
