About the role
Seeking for a Fire and Gas Maintenance Service Engineer and Technician to join our team on a contract basis in East Kalimantan. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of critical fire and gas safety systems to ensure the ongoing protection and security of our industrial facilities.
The candidates should have experience for maintenance and troubleshooting service in Fire and Gas System. CONTRACTOR must provide Instrument Hand Tools (1 ea for Back to Back), High Impact Glove (for each personnel), Flashlight ex (for each personnel), and camera (1 ea for Back to Back), for routine support personnel/Back up personnel at FPU or ORF.
What you'll be doing
Performing scheduled inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire and gas detection, alarm, and suppression systems
Troubleshooting and repairing any faults or issues with fire and gas safety equipment
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance
Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures
Providing technical support and guidance to operations teams on the proper use and care of fire and gas systems
Collaborating with other maintenance and engineering personnel to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of critical safety infrastructure
What we're looking for
Personnel Requirement And Competency
Engineer
Minimum qualifications:
o Science or Engineering Degree
o Minimum Five (5) years related Fire and Gas System.
o Good command of the English language
o Fully qualified in the engineering of F&G equipment.
o Familiar with safety processes and facilities in Oil & Gas Industry
o Familiar with international standards
o Familiar to produce work schedule and procedures
Technician
Minimum qualifications:
o Vocational High School/Diploma Degree
o Minimum Three (3) years related Fire and Gas System.
o Good command of the English language
o Fully qualified in the operation of the test equipment and able to work with minimum supervision.
o Familiar with safety processes and facilities in Oil & Gas Industry
o Familiar with Fire and Gas System in many brands.
Test Equipment and Tools
The competent candidate for this service should have experience with :
1. Standard minimum insulated electrical tools and instrumentation tools
2. Certified and calibrated AVO meter, Insulation resistance Meter, Ex certified for use in hazardous area.
