Client Details: Multinational Engineering Company

This problem-solving and mining-skilled-engineer will be responsible for all project & service activities in Kalimantan. This includes pre-project joint visits, supervising site installation jobs, testing & commissioning, repairing faults, monitoring & servicing equipment on sites, as well as providing product & system learning for our customers

Job Description:

• Installation and commissioning of product and system

• Ensure installations onsite completed as planned in terms of functionality, quality, and time

• Perform training to ensure customers are well educated on safe and proper operation of equipment

• Monitor equipment and machinery performances and develop preventative maintenance measures

• Troubleshoot, service, monitor, evaluate, and resolve customer issues, to then analyze, inspect and review findings to determine the best-possible (future) solutions

• Reporting and present findings to Managers and Supervisors on a regular basis

• Work alongside with sales team for technical support and BOQ

• Establish good relationships with customer, on sites door-opener for new sales opportunities

• Reports to Project & Service Manager / Head of Engineering in Tangerang Selatan, and Sales Manager in Balikpapan

Job Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, with min. GPA 3.0

• Minimum 2 years engineering experience in hydraulic, filtration or mechanical/electrical work; preferably in coal mining industry

• Having supervisory/team leading/ customer handling experience highly advantageous

• Fluent in English, other languages an advantage, mainly for technical requirements and customer relationships

• Good customer service and client technical services competence

• Practical knowledge of hydraulics components and filtration systems

• Sound understanding of hydraulics and mechanical engineering principles

• Certified SolidWorks 3D user, and other engineering design tools is an advantage

• Flexible, open-minded, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as in a team, and in customer-minded environment

• Able to work in a tight time frame, with high precision and quality

• Willing to travel extensively throughout Kalimantan area

• Comply and strictly adhere to corporate Business Code, company regulations, and ethical conducts
