About the role

PT SUNRISE MASAMI INTERNASIONAL' is seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team in Banyuwangi, East Java. As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the engineering operations to support the company's growth and innovation objectives. What you'll be doing

1. Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery

2. Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and best practices to optimise processes and maintain high standards

3. Oversee the design, development, and testing of new products and solutions to meet customer requirements

4. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget

5. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to address technical challenges and support the overall business objectives

7. Mentor and develop the engineering team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

2. 5+ years of progressive experience in an engineering management role, preferably in the manufacturing cans industry

3. Fluent in Mandarin (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is a must

4. Strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of engineering principles, processes, and best practices

5. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

6. Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience in managing engineering projects from conception to completion

7. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures
