About the role
As the EHS Engineer at OPPO Indonesia Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of the company's operations. This full-time position is located in Tangerang, Banten, and will involve implementing and maintaining effective EHS policies, procedures, and programs to protect the company's workforce and surrounding community.
What you'll be doing
Developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS management systems and programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
Conducting risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate risks
Providing training and support to employees on EHS-related topics, promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation
Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational and strategic decision-making
Maintaining accurate records and reporting on EHS performance metrics to key stakeholders
What we're looking for
Fluent in Chinese, English & Bahasa is a must
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in an EHS or sustainability role, preferably within the mining, natural resources, or energy industries
Strong understanding of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to the industry
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to identify and address EHS-related issues
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to driving continuous improvement in EHS performance
