Deputy Area Manager (East Java, West Kalimantan, and Papua) - Heavy Equipment

As the Deputy Area Manager (East Java, West Kalimantan, and Papua) for one of our clients, a leading multinational heavy equipment company, you will play a key role in driving the company's strategic expansion across these major regions. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and boosting sales performance, as well as leading a team to achieve outstanding results. This is a full-time position primarily based in the mentioned regions (East Java, West Kalimantan, and Papua).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and increase market share in the assigned regions.

• Manage the Sales team by providing coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure they meet their targets.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements.

• Represent the company at industry events, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and explore new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role in sales or operations, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.

• Proven track record of driving sales performance and leading high-performing teams to achieve ambitious targets in the heavy equipment sector.

• Strong understanding of products, markets, and business dynamics within the heavy equipment industry in Indonesia.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, dealers, and stakeholders at all levels.

• Familiarity with and knowledge of the market and conditions in the assigned areas (East Java, West Kalimantan, and Papua), including insights into the local competitive landscape in the heavy equipment industry.

• Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions.
