About the Role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the frontline in maintaining excellent communication with our customers. You will handle inquiries, provide support, and ensure a seamless ordering experience. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of building positive relationships both internally and externally. You will play a key part in driving customer satisfaction and supporting the sales process from order to payment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls, emails, and faxes regarding customer inquiries and needs.
Provide information on pricing and stock availability accurately
Follow up on quotations and monitor payment statuses
Deal directly with customers and independently determine pricing when needed
Support sales and customer interactions with basic negotiation and contracting tasks
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external customers
Process customer orders once quotations are confirmed
Handle customer complaints professionally and de-escalate tense situations
Maintain an organized and efficient filing system
Qualifications
Maximum age: 30 years old
Preferably based in Semarang
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
Able to work under pressure and handle multitasking efficiently
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
