About the role

KORRUN GROUP is seeking an experienced Custom Manager to oversee all customs-related operations at our production facility in Jepara Regency, Central Java. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all import and export processes, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and procedures. This is a key position that will play a vital part in supporting the company's manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and manage all customs clearance activities, including documentation, inspections, and liaising with government authorities

• Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and policies, and stay up-to-date with any changes

• Oversee the customs brokerage function, including the selection and management of customs brokers

• Develop and implement customs-related procedures and policies to optimise efficiency and minimise delays

• Analyse customs data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and cost savings

• Provide guidance and training to the logistics team on customs-related matters

• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to align customs processes with overall business objectives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customs management or related role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

• Strong understanding of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements, both in Indonesia and internationally

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Proficient in data analysis and reporting

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments

• Familiarity with customs clearance software and technology

• Relevant undergraduate degree or professional customs certification
