We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry-Bakery Chef who can craft innovative plant-based desserts and baked goods that delight our guests while staying true to our values of health, sustainability, and community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and produce high-quality plant-based pastries, breads, and desserts
Work with the Head Chef to innovate new recipes that align with plant-based, wholesome, and sustainable dining concepts
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality in all baked and pastry products
Manage daily kitchen operations for pastry and bakery section, including preparation, production, and storage
Monitor stock levels, handle ordering, and minimize waste in the bakery section
Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Train, guide, and motivate kitchen team members in pastry and bakery preparation
Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special items for events or promotions
Requirements
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Bakery Chef, preferably in a plant-based or health-focused concept
Strong knowledge of plant-based ingredients, substitutes, and baking techniques
Creativity in developing desserts and baked goods that are both nutritious and appealing
Ability to manage time, multitask, and lead a small team efficiently
Commitment to sustainability, quality, and guest satisfaction
Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Ubud
Available to start immediately
