About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our fast-paced restaurant team at KatibeHouse Restaurant in South Kuta, Bali. As our Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and accurately processing payments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. This is a full-time position based in our vibrant restaurant located in the heart of South Kuta.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Accurately process customer payments, including cash, credit/debit cards and digital wallets

• Handle cash drawer, count cash at the beginning and end of each shift, and reconcile transactions

• Provide information about menu items, specials and restaurant offerings to customers

• Assist with general restaurant duties as needed, such as restocking supplies and maintaining a clean work area

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong customer service skills at all times

What we're looking for

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing role within the hospitality or retail industry

• Strong math and cash handling skills with the ability to accurately balance a cash drawer

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage
