About the role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations and performance of our retail store in Surabaya, Java. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring your store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. This is a full-time position based in our Surabaya location.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage all departement on our building materials business line
2. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and profitability
3. Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising
4. Train and develop a talented team of retail associates
5. Monitor and analyse store performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
6. Manage all aspects of the branch's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and project delivery
7. Collaborate with the central office to align the branch's activities with the overall business objectives
8. Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the branch team
9. Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the branch's operations
10. Represent the company and build strong relationships with local clients and partners

What we're looking for

1. More than 5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the building and construction material
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a positive in-store experience
4. Proficient in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive decision-making
5. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
6. A proven track record and successful sales history
7. Professional image, polished presentation
8. Strong relationship-building and negotiating skill
9. High energy and results-oriented, successful closer
