Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations

Job Responsibilities: 1. Ensure Custodian regulatory compliance: Oversee and ensure that all custodian activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations and ensuring that company practices are compliant. 2. Develop and maintain policies & procedures: Create, implement, and regularly update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This involves identifying areas for improvement and updating policies as necessary. 3. Identify, Monitor and manage compliance risks: Proactively identify potential compliance risks, monitor ongoing activities to ensure compliance, and manage any risks that arise. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively. 4. Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: Oversee the monitoring of custodian transactions to identify any suspicious activities. Ensure that any suspicious activities are reported in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. 5. Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: Conduct training sessions and raise awareness among custodian team members about new or updated regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. 6. Escalate and Report Compliance matters: Ensure that any compliance issues are escalated and reported to the appropriate authorities or internal stakeholders. This includes preparing detailed reports on compliance matters. 7. Liaise with regulator, police, and prosecutor during inspections and inquiries: Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, law enforcement, and prosecutors during inspections and inquiries. Provide necessary documentation and support during these processes.

Education and Experience Information: - Bachelor's degree in law, Finance, Accounting. - Professional certification in compliance is an advantage. - Minimum 3 years of experience in securities services fund compliance (preferable), or risk management in a leadership role. - Strong background in banking, financial services, or regulatory institutions.

Skills and Abilities: - Strong leadership and people management skills. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - High integrity, ethical judgment, and independence. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to interact with regulators. - Initiative and ability to oversee compliance programs effectively. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
