About the role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Production Manager to join our dynamic team at PT Colorobbia Indonesia, a leading manufacturer in the Manufaktur, Transportasi & Logistik industry. As an Assistant Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our production processes at our Cikarang Selatan, West Java facility. This is a full-time position that offers excellent growth opportunities within our organisation.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure that manufacturing targets related to output, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently met with budget and plan.

• Supervise and coordinate production teams, ensuring high levels of productivity, operational discipline, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Ensure product quality meets customer requirements and internal specifications through effective implementation of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) practices.

• Monitor machine performance, raw material usage, and production yields, take proactive corrective action to minimize downtime, defects, and material waste.

• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs (e.g., defect rates, customer complaints, rework, etc.) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) as necessary.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, Administration) to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth process flow.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen projects, to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree ( chemistry,mechanical/ electrical / Industrial production is preferred).

• 5+ years Operational experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role. Experience in furnace or smelter operation will be advantage. 

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, train operators, and enforce operational discipline.

• Proven ability to manage and optimize production processes to meet productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety targets.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on, process-driven approach.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Accurate, SAP).

• Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
