About the team

Product Sales is a team of deep functional and technical specialists who both lead and advise on deals for the most strategically important products in Stripes portfolio. Revenue and Finance Automation (RFA) Product Sales is tasked with attacking a $100B market opportunity for back office finance automation across billing, tax, revenue reporting, and data.

What youll do

As an Account Executive, Billing, Greater China at Stripe, you will use your sales and product expertise to help drive growth through both existing and new to Stripe customers. You will collaborate with the core sales team, marketing, product, and partner teams to develop deep product and industry knowledge. You will be instrumental in leading in depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers and building and executing against our go to market strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue to achieve and over perform on target and KPIs
  • Lead new business sales and upsell conversations for existing and prospective Stripe customers.
  • Drive strategic thought leadership within assigned territory to ensure user success and revenue growth
  • Deeply understand the sales process and competitors for Stripe, including software, hardware and payments.
  • Serve as both an internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe, especially for your specialised products.
  • Evangelise internally for our customers and proactively drive sales initiatives and processes improvements to drive revenue growth in your segment.
  • Synthesise and relay customer feedback and our findings to inform Stripes product roadmap.
  • Engage with Product, Marketing and Partner teams to help amplify our growth trajectory
Who you are

You are an adept salesperson, capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organisation, including CEO, CFO, and CTO. You are used to building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on complex products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge. You are equally comfortable working with external clients as with internal stakeholders (including executives). Youre excited to become an expert and to share your knowledge. Youre an organised self-starter, an excellent communicator who is highly analytical and has a track record for improving the processes and organisations around you. We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements
  • 7 years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company and a track record of top performance
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
  • A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
  • An enthusiastic roll up your sleeves mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin is required for this role, as it involves working primarily with companies from the Greater China region
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders
  • You are authentic & bring your own style/sense of humour to any organisation
Preferred qualifications
  • 3 years of experience specifically selling financial services or similar software
  • Experience in selling revenue cloud, billing & invoicing, accounting or tax solutions
  • Proven ability to sell complex software and hardware
Hybrid work at Stripe

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50 PERCENT of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is S$285,100 - S$427,700. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the roles On Target Earnings (OTE) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidates experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicants location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
