As we continue to scale globally, we are now seeking a talented Senior Game Designer to join our team in Jakarta.

The Game:
You’ll be focused on our game Pipers Pet Cafe. The game combines pet cafe decoration, and Solitaire. Players take on the role of Piper, a young woman who is given the opportunity to open a pet cafe by an eccentric benefactor. Piper must renovate the cafe, attract customers, and solve the mystery of why her benefactor chose her.
What youll be doing...

• Manage the design of your levels & level mechanics through the full cycle of production from conception to optimisation.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX designer, UI artists, art directors, developers, project managers, QA testers, and other game designers / product managers to define the requirements of new game mechanics.
• Capture all the requirements from engineer, art, and cutscene teams to measure the size, effort, and time of making new level mechanics.
• Brainstorm and research to plan the level difficulty, economy, & layout guidelines.
• Experiment with level mechanics designs and explore opportunities from competitors.
• Outline the gameplay experience (layout, difficulty, cost, rewards, mechanics, arrangement, etc.) in level documentation that will serve as a reference and source of inspiration throughout development.
• Involved in assisting artists and engineers as they translate a vision into an engaging player experience.
• Continuously perform various AB tests to improve the performance (retention, revenue, user experience) of levels in the game, monitor KPI, and prepare regular report to key stakeholders.
• Find solutions to issues uncovered by play testers and cross-functional teams related to level design (get to the root of problems to solve them).
• Understand and help tech artists implement the desired VFX and objects when developing new level mechanics.
• Actively participate in sharing sessions & learning day along with other Game Designers & Product Managers.

Who you are...

• Min 3 years experience in Game design of level-based casual games in general.
• At least 2+ major game titles released or managed.
• Multiple years experience working with game design, core loops and monetization vectors.
• Multiple years experience working in analytic and economic analysis.
• Proficient in using Looker / Tableau.
• Proficiency in Unity engine is a huge bonus.
• Proficiency in SQL is a huge bonus.
• Understand fun factors of games in general.
