Job Description

Position Title    : Yoga TeacherDepartment     : Spa & WellnessLocation            : Selong Selo Resort

Position Summary

The Yoga Teacher is responsible for delivering professional, safe, and enjoyable yoga experiences for resort guests. This role plays an essential part in supporting Selong Selo Resort's wellness & lifestyle programs, enhancing spa and wellness services, and strengthening the resort's image as a destination for relaxation and holistic living.

Key Responsibilities

1. Yoga Instruction

   • Conduct daily yoga classes (group and private) according to the resort schedule.

   • Adapt sessions to guests' abilities, needs, and preferences.

   • Ensure participants' safety and comfort throughout the classes.

2. Program Development

   • Design and deliver a variety of yoga styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, etc.) aligned with wellness trends.

   • Collaborate with the Spa & Wellness Manager to create yoga and wellness packages (retreats, sunrise yoga, yoga & meditation, etc.).

3. Guest Engagement

   • Provide brief consultations to guests on the benefits of yoga.

   • Create warm, professional, and attentive guest experiences.

   • Support resort promotional activities through wellness and lifestyle events.

4. Administration & Reporting

   • Maintain attendance records and collect guest feedback.

   • Assist the Spa & Wellness team with scheduling and coordination.

   • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and comfort of yoga spaces and equipment.

5. Teamwork & Resort Culture

   • Collaborate with spa, wellness, and F&B teams to deliver holistic guest experiences.

   • Serve as a role model for a healthy lifestyle among staff and guests.

   • Support CSR or community wellness initiatives where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Yoga Teacher, preferably in a resort or hospitality environment.

• Certified yoga instructor (Yoga Alliance or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, breathing techniques, and meditation.

• Excellent communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).

• Flexible, friendly, disciplined, and guest service-oriented.

• Passionate about wellness, health, and balanced living.
