One of our clients, a resort villa and spa located in Legian, Bali, offering luxurious villas, rooms and spa services in a lush garden-paradise setting, just a short walk from beach, is looking for a Weddings & Events Sales Manager to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in sales and event management, specifically within the wedding and events industry. They should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, the candidate should have a deep understanding of market trends and customer preferences, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Requirements :
- Open for local candidates.
- Minimum three years of proven experience in a sales or event management role (hospitality/weddings/events industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of wedding and event organisation, including vendor management.
- Highly skilled in negotiation, sales planning, and achieving targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with VHP Systems is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Driven, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in weddings, events, and related services.
- Maximise revenue through up-selling and cross-selling resort facilities and services.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for wedding couples, event planners, and corporate clients.
- Understand client needs and preferences to deliver tailored event solutions.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, feedback, and complaints, providing appropriate solutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of weddings and events to ensure they meet client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Banquet, Housekeeping, Spa, Front Office) to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction throughout the event process.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve sales and performance targets.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to maintain a high-performing team culture.
