Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a company in the outdoor and recreational equipment industry. This company established in 2015, originating from Bandung, Indonesia, manufactures clothing and outdoor recreation equipment. The company produces products for activities such as mountain climbing, camping, and rock climbing, including backpacks, jackets, and sandals.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and design store layouts, including window displays, floor plans, and product placement, to optimize traffic flow and showcase products effectively.
• Create eye-catching and thematic window displays to attract and intrigue passersby and draw them into the store.
• Design and set up in-store displays, focal points, and visual storytelling areas to highlight key products and collections.
• Develop visual narratives and themes that convey the brand's identity and story, using props, signage, and decor.
• Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and seasonal changes, adapting displays accordingly to keep the store fresh and exciting.
• Create planograms to guide store staff on product placement, ensuring consistency across multiple locations.
• Coordinate with merchandising and buying teams to manage inventory levels and ensure that the right products are available for displays.
• Implement effective lighting strategies and color schemes to enhance product visibility and ambiance.
• Incorporate interactive elements, such as touchscreens or digital screens, to engage customers and provide additional product information.
• Design and set up displays for sales promotions, new arrivals, and special events.
• Ensure that visual merchandising follows brand guidelines and aligns with marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Gather feedback from customers and store staff to assess the effectiveness of displays and make improvements.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, retail management, or a related field is preferred
• Min. 4 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail, or a related role is highly valuable
• Strong creativity and an eye for design, with the ability to create visually appealing and innovative displays.
• A deep understanding of fashion trends, product features, and the brand's style and identity.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that displays are executed flawlessly.
