What is a Visa Lead?
At Peponi Travel, the Visa Lead is a key leadership role within our Operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing and leading our Visa team to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely visa processes for our travelers worldwide. The Visa Lead is not only a problem solver who can handle complex cases but also a mentor and strategist who continuously improves our visa service standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the Visa team to achieve excellence in all visa-related processes.
- Oversee end-to-end visa applications across multiple destinations and ensure compliance with each country's regulations.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex visa-related challenges with effective solutions.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for visa operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other internal departments (Guest Relations, Operations, Marketing) to align visa procedures with travel timelines.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with embassies, consulates, and other related institutions.
- Prepare and deliver reports on visa activities, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
- Innovate and implement process improvements to optimize team performance and enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in International Relations, Law, Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in visa handling, travel documentation, or consular services such as VFS or Embassy (minimum 3-5 years).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of guiding and developing a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong networking abilities with government and embassy officials are a plus.
