About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team at PT. Bumitel Indotama, a leading provider of IT and communication services. As a Network Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting our client's network infrastructure. This is a contract-based position based in Sleman, DI Yogyakarta.

What you'll be doing

1. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components

2. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner

3. Perform regular network monitoring and maintenance tasks

4. Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access

5. Provide technical support and training to end-users

6. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure efficient network operations

7. Document network configurations and maintain accurate records

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network Technician or similar role

2. Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and troubleshooting techniques

3. Proficiency in configuring and administering network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls

4. Experience with network operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux

5. Familiarity with network security best practices and tools

6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

7. Good communication and customer service skills
