About the role
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Teknik (kapal) to join our team at PT LIMA SRIKANDI JAYA'. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the technical operations of our fleet of vessels, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of the vessel fleet, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
Coordinating with the engineering team to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
Monitoring the performance of the vessels and identifying areas for improvement
Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
Providing technical support and guidance to the vessel crew
Preparing and reviewing technical reports and documentation
Collaborating with other departments to optimise the overall performance of the vessels
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the maritime industry
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of marine engineering systems and equipment
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of technical professionals
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
