Job Description

Briton English Education, in collaboration with the Local Government of South Kalimantan, is seeking passionate and qualified professionals to join the Sekolah Berbahasa Inggris (SBI) program as English Trainers. The SBI program is an internationally aligned initiative designed to improve the English language proficiency and teaching competencies of both students and teachers, ensuring they meet minimum international standards. As an English Trainer, you will play a vital role in raising the quality of English education in South Kalimantan by delivering dynamic, communicative, and learner-centered instruction, while also supporting the professional development of local teachers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administer placement tests, monitor progress, conduct evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.

2. Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons aligned with CEFR and Cambridge qualifications.

3. Develop teachers' competencies to meet Cambridge B1 and TKT standards.

4. Actively participate in regional academic events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English Education, English Literature, or related field

• Minimum CEFR B2 level English proficiency (supported by IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in English teaching or training

• Preferably certified with TKT, CELTA, or other internationally recognized teaching credentials

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills

• Willingness to be based in or travel across South Kalimantan

• Commitment to education and professionalism
