About the role

PT. LIPPO KARAWACI TBK' is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Karawaci, Banten. This full-time position will play a crucial role in managing the company's tax affairs, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and growing organisation, contributing to the strategic objectives of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing the preparation and filing of all tax returns and reports, including income tax, value-added tax, and other relevant taxes

2. Analysing and interpreting tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure the company's tax compliance

3. Liaising with tax authorities and representing the company in tax audits and investigations

4. Providing tax advice and planning to the finance and accounting teams, as well as to senior management

5. Identifying tax planning opportunities and implementing strategies to minimise the company's tax burden

6. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicating the impact to the relevant stakeholders

7. Supervising and training the tax team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong background in taxation

2. At least 8 years of relevant experience in a tax management role, preferably within the property or real estate industry

3. Thorough understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

6. Proficiency in using tax software and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy

7. A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to identify and implement tax optimisation strategies
